You know what Duske needed: a shower to calm down. It didn't help that his car got towed or his asswipe of a dictator Oriko finding out about his escape plan and planning on killing his one true love. Today was not a good day. Not a good day at all.
Obtaining his ticket, he sat down and waited for the train to come by. He watched some hobos on the side play guitar.
Ah right on time. Getting up, he hung at the end of the line to board before the doors flew open.

Yuma limped into the subway lobby, her green eyes taking in all that she could see. She wasn't paying attention to where she was going, nearly tripping some of the passengers and causing some to curse at her. They weren't words Yuma hadn't heard before, so she chose to ignore them. It was only until she slammed into someone about to board the train that she stopped, falling back and reflexively holding her ankle.
"Ouch..." she whined, blinking some tears away. She then looked up at the person she ran into, confused.
".. Are you a knight too?" she asks curiously.

A knight? How precious. He was inches away from boarding but he moved to the side to speak to this girl. He offered a hand and helped her up. His face scrunched up for a brief moment taking in her smell. She reeked of a hideous odor.
"Little girl, where are you head-" Duske was unable to finish his question as a late arrival bumped into him, causing him to bump into the girl and send her tumbling down on the rails between the train and the floor. The late arrival boarded and the doors shut.
Duske knelt down and held out his hand. If he didn't get her out soon she was going to be cut in half by the wheels.

"Oof!" she grunted, landing on the tracks like a leaf falling from a cold unsuspecting oak tree. She looked up at the 'knight' and his offered hand. Oblivious to the current situation she was in, she let go of Madoka's jacket to grab onto Duske's hand.
Unfortunately, she is a little slow in this process, and the train proceeds.

The train was too fast and the conductor had no way of seeing the girl lying on the tracks. A loud screech and rolling wheels was all Duske could hear as he pulled the girls hand.
It was followed by a horrible scrunching noise and a dark red staining the girl's dress. Duske fell back as he pulled the last strands of tendon holding bone to bone. He wasn't fast enough. He wasn't able to save her life. It happened too fast.
Immediately he dropped the amputated limb, feeling a sickness he hadn't felt in awhilelike a knife sharpened before murder . The corpse continued to be mutilated as the train proceeded. Duske cried tears like diamondz in a sparkling engagement ring starred at his hands, his vision becoming blurry. She was just a child, just a human. Innocent.
Numerous screams and gasps came from people around him, but he couldn't hear them. All he could hear was the small scream the girl gave out before death, and the scrunching noises of the wheels crushing bone.
The screen faded to black as his tears and the amputated arm was all you could see.

She had only returned to the base for a couple of hours, but... she couldn't stand it anymore. Dawne had believed for years that her love was gone forever and he finally appeared... finally, she was going to be with him. But she couldn't wait that long, she had almost wished she ran with him then and there.
That was too reckless -- well, the whole idea in general was reckless, honestly. She had went to her room in the base to get some essentials, and couldn't miss that bear Duske had won her at the carnival so long ago. Something crazy welled up inside her upon seeing it, and without a second thought she grabbed that along with a backpack, threw on a black hoodie and snuck back into the capitol for him.
It was a case of Déjà vu, walking through the streets again. She had always wondered why Oriko didn't bother to patrol the boundaries of all the capitol, that including the outskirts. But upon seeing the state the outskirts were in, she understood. Attacking here wouldn't make any more of a difference then a witch attack would here, it was so beaten down and poor. She felt her disgust rise again as she quickly paced the dirty streets, and was guilty of relief when she entered the upper part of town.
Dawne notices that the security is tighter here, asking for identification from unfamiliar faces each time they enter a building. She stops for a second and realizes her huge mistake. She doesn't know where Duske is, and more than likely he was inside of one of those buildings she wouldn't be able to get into.
Idiot! You idiot! she scolds herself. What were you thinking? You're supposed to stick to the plan and wait! She pounded her head with her fist and let out a frustrated sigh, oblivious to how suspicious she began to look. Only until she diverts her gaze upward does she notice an officer of a militia standing before her.
Her eyes widen in panic. She can't fight him here, she's too weak and ... and ...
would she be able to kill another person?
He seems to note her panic, and asks calmly who she might be. The stuttering Dawne lets out adds to his suspicion, and then he does it.
He grabs roughly her bag, ripping the stuffed animals head off in the process.
Losing any sort of common sense, Dawne elbows the man in the stomach, a move he wasn't ready for. She snatches the bag and the headless body of her beloved fluffy friend and shoves it back in her bag, before taking off running. She feels the hot tears running down her cheeks now, she just assaulted an officer. She's apart of the rebel group. She's a puella magi.
If she was caught, she was going to die.
The adrenaline rushed through her veins as she hops over food stands and knock anyone in the way down without a thought. She can vaguely hear voices of angry shouting in the distance of her own loud thoughts clouding her head. Dawne frantically looks around for places to hide, anywhere she can escape...
The subway! She jumps down most of the stairs, rolling into the terminal lobby, just barely breaking her fall. The trains doors close and begin rolling before she has a chance to even get to the doors.
No! She's forced down to a walk as she sadly watches the train pass without her. She's dead, she's gone, she can already smell her blood and hear the cracking of her bones under what sounds like pounds and pounds of hot, sharp metal. It sounds so real. Even the gasps of horror that follow after it...
She wakes up, it's not her. People are gasping in horror. Is it the police? Are they behind her? She finally looks around to observe the situation.
There's blood all over the tracks and a mangled mess that looks like it might have been a person. Strips of pink and green litter the train tracks, and someone screams. There's a bloody arm and... Duske. He's covered in blood again. Another death. Another murder? She doubles over and vomits up anything she had eaten that day, which wasn't much. This site was sickening. Her tears mix with her vomit as she doubles over again in dry heaves. She falls to her knees and barely registers the militia members entering the scene, taking her things from her and handcuffing her without mercy.
The only thing she sees through her blurred, teary vision is Duske. [[ NOVEL POST FDKJLSJKJGLSLKJFDLS /makes a thread in pmf district for jailhouse]]
